Create a digital product.

Look at the income numbers from freelancers across any niche, and you’ll notice 2 things:

1. On average, freelancers reach an $$$ ceiling
2. The ones who do break through that ceiling, are all doing the same thing…

They’re not just selling their services.

They’re selling digital products.

STEP 1: Clarify your value

Doubling back to last week’s post (i.e. how to make money from consultations), we’re beginning at the same starting point:

The assumption is that you have some experience/insights, or of course a service, that people would gladly hand over their dollars for.

But to turn that into a digital product, ask yourself this clarifying question:

What challenges were your customers facing that you solved for them?

That is your value.

Which you’ll morph into a product.

STEP 2: Start minuscule

If “full course” is what gets conjured in your mind when you hear about digital products: this is your door to rethink.

Full courses can take a month to a year to make,

which defeats the main objective of a side hustle:

To get up and running fast.

Instead of a 24-module, bonus-packed course, try making:

A template
Checklists
A short guide

All which could be done within 1 caffeine-fueled sitting.

STEP 3: Launch it

Figured out your value and turned it into a small digital product?

Do these things next:

1. Get a single-page website 
2. Set it up to accept payments (easy to do in 2023)
3. Don’t overthink it, just launch it.
